I am pretty picky when it comes to paintings. My preference is a painting that is not perfect (you need to tell it’s a painting and not a photo).
I really don’t like most over stylized approaches. To me they don’t feel timeless. I couldn’t see someone hanging up a painting for decades in their house.
Below are some channels that I like and will revisit and try out a tutorial to see if they are a good teacher.
