My first painting from a real life object instead of a photo or painting.

VERDICT: The right side is awful. The painting isn’t true to the source. I just slapped related colors in random locations. The sketches were a bit more fun. The problem is the paper for the sketches absorbs paint fast. It feels like an entirely different painting style. I like the part of the stem that attaches to the leaf. That feels right.
